On behalf of Ferring Pharmaceuticals Nordic commercial cluster, we are now searching for a Nordic Finance Director who will have the overall responsibility for all financial activities in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland (via agent).
The Nordic commercial cluster has a team of 33 persons, some of them working from home-offices and others at the headquarter based in Malmö, Sweden. The Finance Director reports to the General Manager, Ferring pharmaceutical commercial, Nordic cluster and functionally to the Head of Finance Europe based in Switzerland.
The role as Finance Director will also include responsibility for local logistics and supply chain management. This will entail the local forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, in compliance with existing fiscal and civil regulations, as well as with specific company policies and accounting principles in the Nordic countries. The Finance Director will develop a broad understanding of finance targets across local Ferring organization and build capacity for the local finance team (5 persons) to develop. The role plays an important part as a business partner to the cluster management team, while at the same time, being accountable to drive key processes at the operational level. You have a university degree in Finance or Economics, and you master at least one of the Scandinavian languages. You have excellent English skills, written and spoken. We expect you to have at least 10- years’ finance experience in multinational environments with significant intercompany activity. In addition, strong solid understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes is required, preferable in more than one Nordic country.
We also expect solid experience in leading, managing and developing a professional finance team, on- and offshore. You have strong project and change management skills and an analytical mindset. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills is a requirement, and you are used to work independently with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders. The right candidate has the ability of setting long-term financial targets and sponsor performance improvement projects. As a person you are a self-starter with a proactive approach and a sharp focus on quality and delivery who enjoys working strategically as well as at the operative level.
