The Business Development Director (BDD) for Tillberg Design of Sweden AB will play a pivotal role in Viken Group's management team, reporting to the Group CEO and having frequent interactions with the board. The BDD will lead and have full P&L responsibility for a team of experienced Business Directors, driving our growth initiatives in the cruise and cruise yacht segments. Location for the position is at the headquarter in Höganäs.

You will collaborate closely with Viken Group's co-founders, Group CEO, and other key colleagues to drive growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of stakeholder management in an international knowledge-intensive, project-based business, and building relationships across all organizational levels. You will work closely with design, innovation, and project teams to align business goals and drive success. The role also includes networking at industry events: Actively engaging at key expos, forums, and private events, such as Seatrade in Miami.

Important skills for the role are strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to convert commercial leads into profitable projects. We are looking for a high-energy, people-oriented individual who creates followers internally and has a proactive can-do attitude. The role includes securing high-value customer contracts, establishing long-term client partnerships, engaging in deal-making, and contract negotiation. A background in construction and design projects such as cruise & cruise yachts, resorts, the hospitality sector or related industries is highly valued.

A master’s degree in architecture, industrial design, or equivalent field is preferred, combined with a proven track record in business development. Education and/or experience in marine/naval engineering/design is an advantage. A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development positions, preferably in project-based organizations with an international outlook, ideally at the level of CEO, Managing Partner, Director, or similar leadership role with a solid understanding of business and strategic planning is required. Professional proficiency in English and frequent traveling is required.
