Business Controller
Take the next step in your career – in an international design-driven company
Viken Group is one of the world’s leading companies in interior and exterior design for cruise and cruise yachts. Based at our head office in Höganäs, Sweden, we’re now looking for a driven and business-minded Business Controller to join our growing team. This is a newly created role with plenty of room to shape and influence your work – a perfect opportunity to develop your career toward management and/or a CFO position.
At Viken Group, you’ll be part of an international and niche company working on high-end, project-based assignments across the globe, where design, architecture, and innovation go hand in hand.
Your role
As Business Controller, you’ll be part of the Group Finance and Administration team and report directly to the CFO, who recently stepped into a dual role as Group CEO. You will collaborate closely with the CEO, taking ownership of controlling and financial monitoring across international projects.
This is a broad role with varied responsibilities, where you’ll have the opportunity to make your mark – and develop your skills in project management along the way.
Who we’re looking for
You have:
- A university degree in business, finance, or a similar field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in controlling, financial analysis, or management consulting, preferably within a project-driven or business-oriented environment
- A flexible mindset and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Analytical ability to relate financial data to business performance
- Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience working internationally or in project environments is beneficial
What we offer
This is a unique chance to take on a strategic, business-oriented role in an international company with a strong design identity and entrepreneurial spirit. You’ll join a small and collaborative team with short decision paths and real influence over the work.
We offer a development-focused environment, where you’ll grow alongside the company - with opportunities to advance into future leadership roles.
